Managing Partner. Director, Tort Litigation Practice Group
Susan Bourque
Susan M. Bourque serves as Managing Partner of the firm and as the Director of the firm’s Tort Litigation Practice Group. For over two decades, Attorney Bourque has represented individuals and families who have suffered serious injuries or death due to medical malpractice, negligent motor vehicle operation, defective premises, dangerous products, and nursing home abuse and neglect. Attorney Bourque has successfully resolved a wide range of cases by way of jury trials as well as through mediation, binding arbitration, and negotiated settlement. With client satisfaction as her primary goal, Attorney Bourque works closely with her clients throughout every stage of the case and provides her clients with regular communication and case updates.
Among her primary areas of focus, Attorney Bourque has counseled families whose loved ones have been the victim of nursing home abuse and neglect. Nursing home residents represent the most vulnerable patient population as they often suffer cognitive and physical limitations rendering them among the least able to advocate for themselves effectively. In recognizing this vulnerability, Attorney Bourque offers a strong and supportive voice to ensure her clients are well protected and through her work, able to regain the dignity and respect they deserve.
Attorney Bourque is an elected member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) and was elected a Past President of the Massachusetts chapter (2019-2020). Attorney Bourque has also been named to the Best Lawyers in America (Health Care – Litigation and Medical Malpractice – Plaintiff) and has been named a Massachusetts Super Lawyer every year since 2013.
