Boston, MA, February 15, 2023 – Eric J. Parker, co-founding partner of Boston personal injury law firm Parker Scheer LLP, served as a legal consultant for the hit FOX TV series, “Accused,” which premiered on Sunday, January 22nd. As part of his duties, Parker consulted with writers and producers to ensure that legal details depicted in the series were accurately portrayed.
“Accused” is an American crime drama television series developed by Howard Gordon (“Homeland” and “24”) based on the 2010 British series of the same name. The series focuses on stories of defendants in criminal trials that reveal how one wrong turn leads to another, until it’s too late to turn back.
As senior partner at Parker Scheer LLP, Parker brings over 37 years of litigation and trial experience in both state and federal courts. Attorney Parker represents adults and children injured or killed as a result of defectively designed or manufactured products, as well as victims of medical malpractice, nursing home abuse and neglect, defective premises, serious motor vehicle negligence, and aviation-related accidents.
Parker is a 1986 graduate of Suffolk University Law School and serves as an adjunct faculty member at the law school where he teaches advanced tort litigation. He is also a past President of the Massachusetts Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates’ (ABOTA) and is a current member of the Suffolk University Law School “Deans Cabinet.”
